Twenty-three employees were recognized for service ranging from five to 20 years at the Knox Educational Service Center’s staff breakfast meeting on August 13.
“The experience and dedication of these employees are key to the educational success of students served by the ESC and our client districts,” said ESC Superintendent Dr. Timm Mackley. “I am grateful for their continuing service.”
Mackley presented a 20-year service award to Delaine Cunningham, receptionist/office assistant at the Knox Learning Center.

The ESC’s staff breakfast, which marked the start of the 2024-2025 school year, was held in the dining hall of Mount Vernon Nazarene University.
Knox ESC operates the Learning Center in Mount Vernon and preschool sites in Mount Vernon, Centerburg, East Knox and Fredericktown. The ESC also hires aides and provides other services for its client districts: Centerburg Local, Danville Local, East Knox Local, Fredericktown Local, Mount Vernon City and the Knox County Career Center. Limited services also are provided to Clear Fork Valley Local Schools.
